Hand Painted Vintage Covered Serving Dish

I found this lovely vintage silver serving dish and just had to paint it!  The silver plated serving bowl is very heavy and of high quality with lovely roping around the edging, the footings are lovely fleur-de-lis!

 I painted this piece is a lovely blue-green color as a background, and added gorgeous hand painted roses tossed across the top and the front centers.  The edging was all painted and rubbed in gold to bring out the intricate details.  This is such a romantic Victorian piece!  It would be lovely on your vanity to hold your trinkets or perfect on any server or buffet as it makes a lovely display!  You might also want to try it in your kitchen or bath to hold hand towels or soaps..your imagination is the limit!  Please note that one handle is lose, but I don't see this as being a hindrance! 

This server measures 13 inches wide (handle to handle) with a9 1/4 diameter by approximately 7 inches tall.
